charms of this quaint neighborhood of galleries, trattorie, wine
bars and artisan shops, Hotel American could easily become my favorite
place to stay in Venice. It
is within walking distance of the Accademia and Peggy Gugghenheim
galleries. Hotel American
offers both beauty and comfort in its accommodations; the staff is
attentive, the breakfast plentiful and the extras – free internet
service and boat transfers to Murano glass – are a nice touch.
