Just finished Deeply Rooted which your mom gave us for Christmas and it couldn't have been a nicer gift. Went to bed Friday nite feeling achy with a fresh cold and thought I would read a little. Four and a half hours and 222 pages later I put it down and went to sleep with poignant thoughts from your beautiful writing.

Maybe I'm a little biased from my love for your family, both American and Italian, and Italy itself, but I think your book is exquisite. Get a good publisher and a movie agent, and you'll be wealthy. I've not read Enchanted April, but the movie of Deeply Rooted will be just as good, or better because it's real.
